On Sunday, Samsung introduced its latest lineup of smartphones, the Galaxy A56 5G, Galaxy A36 5G, and Galaxy A26 5G, just ahead of the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025. These new devices feature impressive 6.7-inch Super AMOLED displays, boasting refresh rates of up to 120Hz. Each model offers storage options of 128GB and 256GB, and they all operate on Android 15 paired with Samsung’s revamped One UI 7 interface. Notably, these smartphones are promised six years of operating system and security updates.
Pricing and Availability of the New Galaxy A Series
The Samsung Galaxy A56 5G starts at EUR 479, which is approximately Rs. 43,500, for the model equipped with 8GB of RAM and 128GB storage. There is also a 256GB option available for EUR 529 (around Rs. 48,000). Customers can choose from several vibrant colors, including Awesome Graphite, Awesome Lightgray, Awesome Olive, and Awesome Pink.
For the Galaxy A36 5G, the price begins at EUR 379, with the 256GB variant costing EUR 449 (roughly Rs. 40,800). This model comes in stunning color options such as Awesome Black, Awesome Lavender, Awesome Lime, and Awesome White.
As the most budget-friendly option, the Samsung Galaxy A26 5G is priced at EUR 299 (approximately Rs. 27,100) for the 128GB version. The 256GB variant is priced at EUR 369 (around Rs. 33,500). It is available in several appealing colors, including Black, Mint, Peach Pink, and White.

All three new Galaxy A series smartphones run on Android 15-based One UI 7 and are set to receive six years of both OS and security updates. They feature a 6.7-inch Full-HD+ Super AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, delivering vibrant visuals.
Powering the lineup, the Galaxy A56 5G is driven by the Exynos 1580 processor, while the more economical Galaxy A26 5G is equipped with the Exynos 1380 SoC. The Galaxy A36 5G utilizes the Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chip. Each model supports storage up to 256GB and incorporates advanced AI capabilities including features like Auto Trim and Read Aloud.
In terms of photography, all models boast a 50-megapixel primary camera with optical image stabilization and an f/1.8 aperture. The Galaxy A56 5G features a dual-camera setup with a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens, whereas the Galaxy A36 5G comes with an 8-megapixel ultrawide camera. The Galaxy A26 5G has a simpler configuration, including an 8-megapixel ultrawide and a 2-megapixel macro lens.
For selfies, both the Galaxy A56 5G and Galaxy A36 5G are equipped with a 12-megapixel front camera, while the Galaxy A26 5G features a 13-megapixel front-facing camera, positioned in different styles (hole-punch and waterdrop) respectively.
Connectivity features on all new models include 5G, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.3, GPS, NFC, and USB Type-C ports. Each smartphone is powered by a 5,000mAh battery, with the A56 5G and A36 5G supporting faster 45W charging, while the A26 5G supports 25W charging. All three devices also come with an IP67 rating for dust and water resistance, ensuring durability across various conditions.
