The stable One UI 7 update for the Galaxy S24 Ultra has begun to roll out in India and several other countries, including Egypt, Kenya, and Turkey. Users of the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 in regions such as India, South Africa, and Thailand, as well as customers with T-Mobile and Verizon in the United States, are also receiving this long-awaited update. The rollout initially commenced on April 7 in Korea and expanded to the U.S. on April 10, now reaching additional areas following earlier delays.
After a brief pause last week, Samsung has resumed distributing the highly anticipated One UI 7 stable release. By the end of that week, the company had recommenced updates for various devices, including older Galaxy models across multiple regions.
The latest Galaxy S25 series came pre-installed with One UI 7 and has already received the recent April update. However, previous models have been eagerly awaiting this update for some time. Samsung initially started the rollout earlier in the month, experiencing multiple delays and briefly suspending the release before continuing it.

In some regions, including India and Germany, the update had not yet reached the Galaxy S24 series. Fortunately, the Galaxy S24 Ultra in India, among other users, has now received the Android 15-based One UI 7 stable update as of April 23. The update is quite substantial at 5.4GB and includes the April security patch.

Users of the Galaxy S24 Ultra have reported receiving the update not only in India but also in Egypt, Kenya, Mauritius, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Africa, and Turkey, according to discussions on subreddits highlighted by Android Authority. Additionally, many users on Reddit and the Samsung Community have confirmed the stable release of One UI 7, with responses from owners of the devices on T-Mobile and Boost Mobile networks.

Reports have also emerged from Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 users in India, South Africa, and Thailand regarding the stable One UI 7 release, as noted in a publication. Those who own T-Mobile’s Galaxy Z Flip 6 and Z Fold 6, as well as Verizon customers in the U.S., are also now able to enjoy the latest update, according to SammyFans.
The broader rollout of One UI 7 is a positive development for Galaxy device owners, particularly as it began its journey on April 7 in Korea, followed by the U.S. rollout on April 10.
