Sara Ali Khan expressed heartbreak over the Pahalgam terror attack. Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan, and Dia Mirza also condemned the attack previously.

Sara Ali Khan has expressed her deep sorrow following a tragic terror incident that took place in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir. On Thursday, she shared a nostalgic picture from her previous visits to Kashmir on her Instagram stories. In her post, she referred to the recent attack as “barbaric brutality” and called for a collective movement toward peace.

“I am heartbroken, shocked, and horrified by this barbaric brutality,” Sara stated in her caption. She reflected on the breathtaking beauty of the region, describing it as “our heaven on earth, a place that felt so serene and peaceful.” She concluded her message with a prayer for peace and justice.

Sara Ali Khan is not alone in her sentiments. Prominent figures from Bollywood have also voiced their condemnation of the attack and expressed hope for peace in the region. Salman Khan took to social media on Wednesday, lamenting the transformation of Kashmir from a paradise into a site of violence. He remarked, “Innocent people are being targeted; my heart goes out to their families. Every innocent life lost is equivalent to losing the entire universe.”

In addition to Salman Khan, several other celebrities, including Shah Rukh Khan, Siddharth Malhotra, Sonu Sood, Anupam Kher, Katrina Kaif, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, and Allu Arjun, have shared their shock and disappointment over the attack.

Dia Mirza also took to Instagram, articulating her sorrow and urging collective action against hate. In her statement, she expressed, “Our hearts are heavy with grief. The pain we bear must galvanize our resolve to stand united, to advocate for peace, and to take a stance against hatred in all its manifestations. Those responsible for this senseless violence must be held accountable. Justice must be served. We need to come together as one humanity and declare that enough is enough.”

The terror attack involved militants associated with Lashkar-e-Taiba who opened fire on tourists in Pahalgam on the afternoon of April 22. The attack resulted in the tragic loss of approximately 27 lives. Eyewitness accounts revealed that two to three assailants, disguised in military uniforms, launched an indiscriminate attack on tourists who were enjoying horse rides in the Baisaran Meadows. Responsibility for the attack was claimed by The Resistance Front (TRF), identified as a splinter group of the Lashkar.
