According to Carl A. Moore, Sauce’s attorney, the rapper is deeply affected by the loss of his friend but is thankful to have survived the attack.
Reports indicate that Sauce has been discharged from the hospital after receiving treatment for gunshot wounds to his leg. He faces a challenging recovery ahead but is reportedly making progress and gaining strength each day.
Moore shared that Sauce is “back on his feet and walking around,” and he has reassured his fans about his recovery. Recently, he posted a video on Instagram showing himself using crutches, highlighting his resilience.
Details surrounding the incident reveal that Sauce and Sayso P were ambushed by armed assailants outside a hotel near the FedExForum in Memphis. Authorities suspect that Sayso P was the primary target in the attack.
Surveillance footage captured a white 4-door sedan approaching a black SUV, from which three men exited. Two of the assailants surrounded the SUV and opened fire on Sayso P before fleeing the scene.
As of now, the identities of the shooters remain undisclosed, and investigations are ongoing to apprehend those responsible for this violent act.
