Rather than catering to tourists in search of generic souvenirs, he aims to offer more sophisticated alternatives, suggesting that even a casual t-shirt could complement one of his elegant jackets.

This approach has transformed his creative process from a singular body type focus to a more personalized experience, tailoring each garment for individual needs. As he fits garments for clients, he learns more about the nuances of tailoring and how to meet their expectations, prioritizing their comfort and confidence. “It makes me so happy to see people’s posture change when they put something on that I’ve made,” he shares.

This new chapter in Palm Springs has also introduced Marlow to a different lifestyle, characterized by outdoor experiences and mid-century modernist aesthetics. He credits this shift with influencing his clothing design, leading to a cleaner, simpler aesthetic devoid of unnecessary embellishments. “I don’t follow trends. I’m really keeping it very less is more,” he states. Marlow appreciates the contrast of a rugged workspace paired with moments of perfection, highlighting a philosophy that embraces both beauty and imperfection.
