Concerns for Salman Khan’s safety have escalated within his family following recent violent incidents connected to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. This gang is believed to have opened fire at politician Baba Siddique, culminating in his death earlier this month, and is also reportedly linked to gunfire near Salman Khan’s home. Seema Sajdeh, who was previously married to Sohail Khan, expressed her apprehensions about the wellbeing of her children and the wider Khan family in light of these threats.
In an interview with India Today, Seema reflected on her past connection with the Khan family, stating, “When we began filming the first season of our show, I was still married to Sohail. I have two wonderful children with him, and despite our paths diverging, the bond with the Khan family remains influential in our lives.”
Addressing the gravity of the situation, Seema said, “Naturally, I was concerned for my kids, but more so for everyone involved. Such news really unsettles you, as it ultimately raises worries about the safety of loved ones.” Seema and Sohail were married from 1998 until their separation in 2022, and they share sons Nirvaan and Yohan.
In response to the escalating threats, Salman Khan has seen his security detail significantly increased. Authorities are on high alert concerning potential risks to his safety. Recent reports indicate that security measures at Galaxy Apartments, his residence, have been intensified, with restrictions enforced on fans gathering or photographing the property.
According to a report from The Times of India, following Baba Siddique’s death, Salman Khan’s living area in Bandra has become a fortified zone. Police have placed officers outside his residence, barring fans from loitering or taking selfies, a common sight in the past. Moreover, media personnel have also been restricted from filming in the vicinity.
As part of these heightened security precautions, a surveillance camera has been installed to monitor activities outside the building. In light of the threats following Baba Siddique’s murder, Khan has been granted Y-plus security detail, with the Mumbai police now ensuring an escort vehicle accompanies him. Additionally, a unit of the Special Reserve Police Force (SRPF) has been assigned to provide constant security both outside his home and at his Panvel farmhouse.
