Multiple individuals have sustained injuries following a plane crash at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday afternoon.
Emergency services, including Ornge air ambulance, were alerted to the incident around 2 p.m., which involved a Delta Airlines flight arriving from the United States, as confirmed by the airport’s official channels.
Social media circulated various videos and images depicting a Delta aircraft overturned on the airport premises.

A representative from Ornge reported that multiple ambulances were dispatched to respond to the situation. They noted, “One paediatric patient is currently being taken to Sick Kids Hospital with critical injuries.” Additionally, “A male patient in his 60s was transported to St. Michael’s Hospital with critical injuries, alongside another patient taken to Sunnybrook Health Sciences Centre, also in critical condition.”
Injury details remain somewhat vague. Shortly after the crash was initially reported, Peel paramedics indicated there could be around nine individuals injured, with at least one in critical condition. Peel Regional Police have also arrived at the scene to offer assistance to emergency personnel.
As of now, there has been no conclusive information regarding the cause of the incident.
