Shah Rukh Khan was recently seen at the iconic Gateway of India in Mumbai, accompanied by his wife Gauri Khan and son AbRam. The actor was spotted sporting a black hoodie, partially concealing his face, as he tenderly held his pet dog. This appearance follows the trend of Bollywood stars frequently using ferries as a convenient mode of travel, a choice previously highlighted by fellow actress Kareena Kapoor Khan, who was also seen at the same location earlier that day.
In the vicinity of the Gateway, the Bollywood superstar was photographed making his way to a car, with Gauri and AbRam trailing behind. The family reportedly returned to Mumbai after a visit to their Alibaug farmhouse. Despite the presence of security personnel to manage the crowd, fans enthusiastically gathered to get a glimpse of Khan, whose popularity remains unwavering.
Recent footage captures King Khan dressed casually in a black hooded jacket paired with denim jeans, cradling his dog in one arm while navigating through a throng of admirers. His son AbRam, donning a matching black outfit, was seen walking ahead, with Gauri Khan making a swift entrance into their vehicle.
In related news, Shah Rukh Khan has recently signed a lease for two luxurious duplex apartments located in Pali Hills, Khar West. The properties, owned by the Bhagnani family, are leased under generous terms: one apartment owned by Jackky Bhagnani and Deepshikha Deshmukh is rented for approximately Rs 11.54 lakh monthly, alongside a security deposit of Rs 32.97 lakh. The second apartment, owned by producer Vashu Bhagnani, carries a monthly rent of Rs 12.61 lakh with a deposit of Rs 36 lakh.
This decision comes shortly after Gauri Khan sought approval from the Maharashtra Coastal Zone Management Authority (MCZMA) to expand their famed residence, Mannat. The planned renovations will add two floors to the existing six-storey structure, thereby increasing the built-up area by 616.02 square meters. Reports indicate that construction is set to begin in May, prompting the family to temporarily relocate to their new accommodations.
On the professional front, Shah Rukh Khan is preparing for his next significant project titled “King,” in collaboration with director Siddharth Anand. The duo previously partnered on the successful 2023 film “Pathaan.” In “King,” Khan will portray the lead character while his daughter Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan, taking on the role of the antagonist, will also feature prominently. The film is being produced under the banners of Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix.
