The historical action film Chhaava, starring Vicky Kaushal, has made a significant impact at the box office, gaining widespread acclaim from both fans and critics. Reports indicate that it grossed an impressive Rs 31 crore nett in India on its opening day, setting a new record for the highest first-day collection in Vicky Kaushal’s career.

To commemorate this achievement, Vicky’s father, the acclaimed action director Sham Kaushal, expressed his deep appreciation for the viewers who contributed to Chhaava’s success, labeling it a potential blockbuster. He shared a memorable collage video from a screening event that featured a host of prominent personalities, including Vicky, Katrina Kaif, Sunny Kaushal, Sharvari, Dinesh Vijan, Ashutosh Rana, Anand Tiwari, Laxman Utekar, Vineet Kumar Singh, and Diana Penty.

In the video, which was accompanied by the dynamic soundtrack “Aaya Re Toofan” from the film, Sham Kaushal wrote on Instagram, “God is kind. Thanks for giving so much love to Chhaava and making it a blockbuster. Gratitude. Rab Rakha.”

Viewers responded enthusiastically in the comments, praising the film and Vicky’s performance. One fan stated, “He (Vicky) deserves it,” while another proclaimed, “Vicky rocks.” A third comment simply described the film as a “Good movie.”

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chhaava also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Akshaye Khanna in pivotal roles.

Katrina continued to celebrate Vicky’s artistry, highlighting his ability to transform into diverse characters effortlessly, calling him “outstanding” and praising his versatility as a performer.

Looking ahead, Vicky Kaushal is set to appear in upcoming projects directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali, including Love and War alongside notable actors Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt, as well as in Maddock Films’ Mahavatar.
