Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor has garnered an immense fan base over the years. With her recent success in ‘Stree 2,’ she has adopted a more selective approach towards her upcoming projects. Having appeared in only a few films in recent years, the actress is not rushing into signing multiple films at once, and there have been no concrete announcements about her next role.
In a recent discussion with Elle, Kapoor shared insights into her decision-making process regarding film roles, emphasizing a sense of intuition and personal desire. She expressed, “I do what I want to do. I’m not in a rush to sign films back-to-back… following my heart is what keeps me grounded.” Additionally, she reflected on the challenges she faced at the start of her career, acknowledging that overcoming obstacles is essential for growth and personal development.
Kapoor spoke candidly about her experiences with failure, describing it as a significant learning tool and an essential part of her journey towards success. “I gave countless auditions at the beginning of my career. I was even finalized for a few films and then replaced. At that time, it was very demotivating. But those experiences have made me who I am today. I cherish every aspect of my journey,” she noted, highlighting the resilience she developed through adversities.
Her latest appearance was in Amar Kaushik’s horror-comedy ‘Stree 2,’ where she shared the screen with Rajkummar Rao. Prior to this film, she featured in ‘Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar’ in 2023, alongside Ranbir Kapoor. While Kapoor has not officially revealed her next project, speculation suggests she may collaborate with Hrithik Roshan and Jr NTR for a musical number in ‘War 2.’
‘Stree 2’ has performed exceptionally well at the box office, becoming the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024. The film is the fourth installment in the Maddock Supernatural Universe and a sequel to the 2018 hit ‘Stree.’ In addition to Kapoor and Rao, the cast features Pankaj Tripathi, Abhishek Banerjee, and Aparshakti Khurana, contributing to its widespread acclaim.
