Sikandar Box Office Collection Day 3: The new release Sikandar starring Salman Khan, alongside Rashmika Mandanna and directed by AR Murugadoss, is enjoying a solid performance in theaters. Although the film did not generate as much pre-release excitement as some of Khan’s earlier Eid hits, its steady box office results reinforce the actor’s significant influence in the industry.

As per reports from Sacnilk.com, Sikandar debuted at ₹26 crore on its first day and experienced an increase on Day 2, grossing roughly ₹29 crore across all languages. The positive trend continued into Day 3 (Tuesday), with the film estimated to earn around ₹19 crore. On April 1, 2025, the Hindi occupancy rate was noted at an overall 17.26%.

News18 Showsha awarded the film 3.5 stars, highlighting its energetic nature. An excerpt from their review stated:

“Salman Khan’s presence is electrifying, and he commands every scene with his trademark charisma. Whether he’s delivering punchlines, performing stunts, or simply walking into a room, his aura is undeniable. Sikandar is an unapologetic Salman Khan vehicle, and it’s a wild ride that’s sure to leave fans grinning from ear to ear.”

In addition to Khan’s dynamic performance, Sikandar features Rashmika Mandanna in a key role. The film is currently facing tough competition from Mohanlal’s Empuraan, which also debuted around the same time. In light of this box office rivalry, Salman has expressed admiration for both Mohanlal and the film’s director, Prithviraj Sukumaran.

“This is the Mohanlal film? I love him as an actor. And Prithviraj is directing it? I think it’s going to be a very good film,” Salman remarked, acknowledging the vibrancy of the Malayalam film industry.

With his signature humor, the veteran actor added, “I request all MNCs to increase salaries this month and pay bonuses so that people can watch Empuraan, Sikandar, and Jaat, which is also releasing soon (April 10).”
