Simone Biles Shines at the 2025 TIME100 Gala

Simone Biles, widely regarded as one of the greatest gymnasts of all time, made a stunning appearance at the 2025 TIME100 Gala held in New York City. The event recognized her remarkable achievements, and Biles expressed her disbelief at being honored as a Titan.

In an interview with “Extra’s” Mona Kosar Abdi, Biles shared her feelings about receiving such an accolade. “I really can’t believe it,” she said, noting the surreal experience of being acknowledged alongside other notable figures. “It’s wild—standing here with everyone,” she added, reflecting on her status in the public eye.

Although her husband, Jonathan Owens, could not accompany her due to his commitments hosting an NFL Draft party, he expressed immense pride in Biles’ accomplishments. “He is so proud of me!” Biles stated, highlighting the supportive nature of their relationship.

As she prepares for the upcoming Met Gala, Biles revealed she is considering two custom-tailored dresses. “I’m going back and forth between two dresses right now… I’m excited,” she shared, indicating her enthusiasm for personal style and the high-profile event. Coinciding with their second wedding anniversary, she added, “It’ll be exciting to celebrate at the Met with him.”

Furthermore, Biles took a moment to acknowledge Snoop Dogg, who has been a supportive fan throughout her Olympic career. “I absolutely love him. I love working with him,” she expressed, hinting at future collaborations. “We’ve done a couple of things together, so hopefully there’s more in the works. He’s such a great guy.”

During the interview, Biles also discussed her approach to recovery during the off-season from competitive gymnastics. “I just relax. Be with my husband and that’s it,” she explained, emphasizing the importance of downtime in her rigorous training schedule.
