As technology continues to advance, robotic cleaners are increasingly becoming commonplace in households. Among these innovations, robot vacuum cleaners have made significant strides, but maintaining a pristine swimming pool remains a more daunting task. A swimming pool can become unkempt quickly, often consuming considerable time and effort for cleaning. Fortunately, robotic solutions are now available for pool maintenance as well. At CES 2025, SMOROBOT showcased a lineup of four cordless robotic pool cleaners, designed to simplify this chore. Here’s a closer look at their offerings.
Valor P10
The flagship model, the Valor P10, stands out with its sophisticated features tailored for high-end pool care. Utilizing an impressive 8,000 gallons per hour (GPH) suction system, the Valor P10 adeptly manages various types of debris, adapting its suction power based on the size and nature of the material it encounters. This model is equipped with a 120-degree VisionClean camera and advanced TruePath navigation AI, enabling it to navigate effortlessly across different pool surfaces such as tiles, concrete, and vinyl linings.
The innovative V-Power climbing system, which incorporates anti-skid treads and specialized rolling brushes, allows the unit to clean walls and waterlines effectively, reaching heights of up to 10 centimeters above the water’s surface. Additionally, it features a brushless motor paired with a specialized blade that enhances water capture and back-spray efficiency.
With a runtime of up to 180 minutes in energy-saving mode, the Valor P10 operates effectively both day and night, illuminated by integrated lights. While the retail price is set at $1,399, the inclusion of a three-year warranty offers some reassurance regarding its longevity.
Valor L20
The SMOROBOT Valor L20 presents a more cost-effective option, priced at $899. This model is particularly designed for prolonged cleaning sessions, boasting a runtime of up to five and a half hours per charge, making it suitable for larger swimming pools. It also delivers a suction power of 6,400 GPH.
Similar to the Valor P10, the L20 is designed to park at the waterline, making retrieval from the pool a hassle-free process post-cleaning. Enhanced navigation is achieved through intelligent mapping technologies powered by sonar and laser AI, which facilitate movement around deep ends, steps, and shallow areas.
Tank C1 Elite
The Tank C1 Elite combines 3,300 GPH suction power with a dual filtration system capable of managing everything from larger debris to fine dust particles. With a capacity for covering up to 2,500 square feet and a runtime of 150 minutes, this model is ideal for small to mid-sized pools. A notable feature of the Tank C1 Elite is its weekly timer, allowing it to conduct 45-minute cleaning sessions every 48 hours without user intervention.
This model is available at a price point of $649.
Tank C1
Finally, the Tank C1 mirrors the specifications of the Tank C1 Elite but opts out of the weekly timer feature. Still boasting the same suction strength of 3,300 GPH, a 150-minute runtime, and coverage capacity, it remains a formidable choice for budget-conscious consumers with small to medium pools. The Tank C1 is priced at $599.
