Collaboration of Nate Amos and Lindsey Jordan on New Track
Nate Amos of This Is Lorelei has teamed up with Lindsey Jordan, frontwoman of Snail Mail, to reinterpret a song from his upcoming album, Box for Buddy, Box for Star. The transformed track titled “Two Legs (Snail Mail Version)” will feature on the deluxe edition of Amos’ album, which is set for release on April 25, 2024. Alongside this new rendition, MJ Lenderman will contribute his version of “Dancing in the Club” to the expanded album.
Amos expressed his enthusiasm about the collaboration, stating, “When the concept of a deluxe edition featuring covers and collaborations was proposed, my immediate thought was that I wanted Lindsey to lend her voice to ‘Two Legs.’ My admiration for Snail Mail has been profound ever since I had the opportunity to tour with them, so it felt incredibly rewarding to have Lindsey interpret the song in her own unique way.”
Lindsey Jordan shared her perspective on the partnership, noting, “Over the past few years, I have followed Nate’s work and come to regard him as one of the most talented songwriters of our time, as well as a genuinely wonderful person. Contributing vocals to this project was a joy, and I relished the chance to immerse myself in it repeatedly.”
The deluxe edition of Box for Buddy, Box for Star will not only highlight contributions from Jordan and Lenderman but will also include a fresh rendition of “Angel’s Eye,” featuring contributions from Amos’ father and sister.
