Sobhita Dhulipala and Naga Chaitanya Meet PM Modi, Presenting a Tribute Book
Actress Sobhita Dhulipala recently celebrated a significant milestone, capturing the moment on Instagram as she and fellow actor Naga Chaitanya had the opportunity to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi at Parliament House. They presented the book ‘Akkineni Ka Virat Vyaktitva,’ authored by Padma Bhushan awardee Dr. Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad. This publication serves as a homage to the legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao (ANR) and highlights his substantial influence on Indian cinema.
In her post, Sobhita shared a collection of stunning images that featured herself, Naga Chaitanya, Nagarjuna, and Prime Minister Modi. For the occasion, both Nagarjuna and Chaitanya wore elegant dark bandhgalas, showcasing a polished look. Sobhita was radiant in a cream and gold saree, while Amala complemented the formal atmosphere with a beautiful pink saree.
Sobhita expressed her heartfelt appreciation in her post, stating, “Profoundly thankful to Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi ji for today’s meeting at Parliament House. It was an honor to present ‘Akkineni Ka Virat Vyaktitva,’ a tribute to ANR garu’s cinematic heritage. Your recognition of his life’s work is a treasured affirmation for our family, fans, and Indian movie lovers.” This sentiment underscores her deep appreciation for ANR’s cinematic legacy and the lasting impact he had on Telugu cinema.
During the meeting, Sobhita also shared a personal touch by gifting PM Modi a Kondapalli bommalu, which are traditional dancing dolls from Andhra Pradesh. Reflecting on her bond with these dolls, she recalled, “Anyone who knows me knows how much I adore Kondapalli bommalu. Their memories trace back to my childhood years in my grandparents’ home in Tenali. So happy to be able to gift him one and to find that he knows all about this old handicraft and its nativity to Andhra Pradesh.”
Having married Naga Chaitanya in December 2024 after their engagement in August, Sobhita Dhulipala has been making waves in the film industry. She was seen in the films ‘Monkey Man’ and ‘Love, Sitara’ in 2024, both of which showcased her diverse acting skills and contributed to her growing acclaim.
Naga Chaitanya, who recently starred in the action drama ‘Custody’ and the web series ‘Dhootha,’ made his latest appearance in ‘Thandel’, directed by Chandoo Mondeti and featuring Sai Pallavi. Although the film received mixed reviews, his performance was well-received by fans. Currently, he has not announced any upcoming projects.
Nagarjuna, who was last seen in the 2024 Sankranthi film ‘Naa Saami Ranga,’ which was a box office success, is actively working on several projects, including ‘Kubera’ directed by Sekhar Kammula, starring alongside Dhanush and Rashmika Mandanna. Additionally, he is engaged in filming ‘Coolie,’ a star-studded venture led by Lokesh Kanagaraj, which also includes notable names like Rajinikanth and Shruti Haasan.
