In the game Post Trauma, players are challenged to navigate an intriguing puzzle involving fuses, notably in Act I. This act is relatively brief, and players can progress quickly once they comprehend how to tackle the fuse puzzle that awaits them in the underground station. Here, you’ll find a mix of fuses to locate and switches to engage, setting the stage for the gameplay transition to a first-person perspective in the next act.
To assist players facing this challenge, the following breakdown provides guidance on solving the fuse puzzle in Post Trauma.
Post Trauma: All fuse locations
As players explore deeper into the underground station, they will encounter two train tracks surrounded by peculiar mannequins. Four key locations are present on the platform, each marked with a specific number and letter, which are crucial for solving the puzzle.
Upon exiting the 3D area, players can drop onto the tracks to explore the other side. Here lies a secured door that requires a keycard to open (noted as 1C), positioned on the initial side of the station. Across the gap, another entrance labeled 2B leads back to the starting point (the shutter previously accessed using a crowbar) and features a keypad (3A).
Entering passage 2B, players might notice something ominous hatching above, though it will remain dormant until the fuse behind the grate adjacent to the locked office is collected. Within the room to the left (where a creature lurks above), a microwave and kettle sit amidst two mannequins. By opening the fridge, players can retrieve an ice block, which can be placed in the kettle to melt and obtain the first fuse.
Next, players should venture to the row of vending machines just outside. One machine contains a mannequin hand holding a fuse, which can be taken with ease. After this, exit through the door by the machine, returning to the beginning of the area.
A quick right turn leads to a fallen vending machine (which predates the first monster encounter). Here, players can grab a metal wire and utilize it on the grate by the locked office room. This action will yield the third and final fuse.
After acquiring all three fuses, players will witness a creature drop from the ceiling, revealing a slow-moving humanoid monster. It is advisable to seek refuge in the far-right room of 2B, adjacent to the monster’s spawning area. Here, players should insert the three fuses into the designated points and focus on the switch panel connected to the fuse box.
Post Trauma: Fuse puzzle solution
The fuse puzzle consists of a series of switches labeled A, B, C, and D. To unlock the next stage, players must activate the correct number of switches based on the clues scattered around the platform, specifically 3A, 2B, 1C, and 3D. Therefore, the required action is to flip three A switches, two B switches, one C switch, and three D switches. It is crucial to ensure both double switches (AB and DA) are flipped during this process. Successfully completing this task will grant access to the Employee Keycard, which can be utilized at the door marked 1C.
By keeping these steps in mind, players can efficiently navigate through the challenges posed in Act I of Post Trauma and relish the unfolding narrative ahead.
