Spirit Airlines Unveils Halloween Sale with Low-Cost Flights
The promotion must be booked by 11:59 p.m. ET on October 30. Travel is permitted from November 6 through January 21, 2025, although the sale excludes all travel on Fridays and Sundays.
Blackout Dates Apply
Travelers should also take note of several blackout dates throughout the promotion. Flights will not be available on November 26-27, November 29-December 1, and December 16-January 3, 2025.
Statement from Spirit
“We’re helping our Guests treat themselves this Halloween season with limited-time deals on their next flight to wicked-fun destinations across our network,” stated Rana Ghosh, Spirit Airlines’ senior vice president and chief transformation officer. “Plus, travelers can enjoy the enhanced comfort and flexibility of our new travel options as they carve out new adventures this fall.”
Flight Options
Available routes include flights from Boston to Orlando, Atlanta to Philadelphia, Fort Lauderdale to Charleston, and Los Angeles to Kansas City, among others, all starting at just $48 one-way. For those seeking warmer weather, flights to San Juan are priced from $63 each way from Boston, $67 each way from New Orleans, and $80 each way from Philadelphia.
Understanding Spirit’s Fare Structure
The sale tickets are offered under Spirit’s “Go” fare category, which represents the most budget-friendly option among the airline’s new fare classes, echoing the original unbundled ticket structure. A “Go” fare includes the allowance of one personal item but does not permit a carry-on bag without additional charges for checked luggage, seat selections, and other services.
Additional Savings for Members
Members of Spirit’s paid Saver$ Club can benefit from even greater discounts, with one-way flights starting as low as $32. The Saver$ Club membership costs $69.95 annually.
Future Developments at Spirit Airlines
In light of recent changes in the airline industry, Spirit Airlines is considering a merger with Frontier Airlines after its proposed merger with JetBlue was halted. Additionally, the airline has introduced new benefits for its Free Spirit loyalty program members, including complimentary Wi-Fi for Gold members, and has eliminated most fees associated with changes and cancellations, even for its lower-priced “Go” fares.
