Sunny Deol Enjoys Serenity Amid Travel Delay
Bollywood star Sunny Deol is experiencing a wave of success following the release of his latest film, Jaat. Recently, he turned a travel setback into a peaceful moment, taking advantage of the tranquil countryside after his flight was unexpectedly delayed.
On Monday, Deol took to Instagram to share a video thanking fans for their enthusiasm surrounding Jaat. The actor was at Chandigarh airport, but when his flight to Pune was delayed, he decided to venture into the nearby fields to relish the calming atmosphere rather than wait in the terminal.
In his video, Deol conveys a sense of calm, referring to the experience as ‘sukoon.’ He included a caption with the post stating, “Sukoon… #Jaat relaxing in the fields as his flight gets delayed. See you in Pune in the evening. Thank you all for loving #Jaat.”
In the footage, Deol showcased a laid-back yet fashionable outfit, featuring a white t-shirt layered with an open checkered shirt combined with icy blue denim. He finished off his look with a black cap and crisp white sneakers, exuding a casual charm that resonated with his fans.
The film Jaat, directed by Gopichand Malineni, premiered in theaters on April 10 and boasts a talented ensemble cast that includes Randeep Hooda, Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, Ramya Krishnan, Jagapathi Babu, and Regina Cassandra. For those who missed the theatrical release, it is expected to become available on Netflix after its cinema run, likely by the end of May or early June, according to reports from OneIndia.
Looking ahead, Sunny Deol is set to appear in the period drama Lahore 1947, where he will star alongside actress Preity Zinta. Additionally, he is involved in another period war drama titled Border 2, alongside Varun Dhawan, Diljit Dosanjh, and Ahan Shetty, with a projected release date around Republic Day 2026.
