Sunny Deol’s new movie Jaat showcases his character Balbir Singh as a defender of his village.
Currently, audiences can watch Sunny Deol in his latest film, Jaat.
In Jaat, Sunny Deol takes on the role of Balbir Singh, a protagonist dedicated to standing up for his village and its people. In a recent discussion with Bollywood Life, Sunny expressed his affinity for portraying characters that exhibit strong emotions, especially anger, emphasizing that he aims to present these feelings in a genuine and relatable manner.
The actor explained that emotions are significant in his performances, stating that he feels anger only when something truly disturbs him. He noted that characters he plays also endure strenuous experiences before they decide to confront their challenges. “Each emotion plays a role; surely, I experience anger when something bothers me. In my films, characters often face moments that prompt them to rise and fight back. Most people remember those intense scenes rather than my romantic ones,” he remarked, highlighting the lasting impact of his action-oriented roles.
Sunny Deol emphasized his commitment to authenticity in his performances, striving to make his characters feel realistic. “Actors have the responsibility to make the characters believable, and I approach this with honesty. I immerse myself in every scene, aiming to truly connect with the moment. When it clicks, it brings a sense of fulfillment because it feels genuine. I am aware of my performance quality; I know when I’ve succeeded and when I haven’t. However, repeating a scene doesn’t always yield the same result,” he explained, reflecting on the nuances of acting.
Jaat was released on April 10, and it has sparked conversations about Sunny Deol’s portrayal of powerful, emotionally charged characters.
