Sunny Deol’s Upcoming Film ‘Jaat’ Set for April 10 Release
Sunny Deol is primed for the release of his latest project, ‘Jaat,’ with the film’s trailer having recently debuted. Fans are buzzing with excitement as the action drama prepares to hit the screens on April 10. During the trailer launch event, Deol took the opportunity to commend the producers and urged Bollywood to draw inspiration from the filmmaking practices in the South, which he praised for their heartfelt approach.
Expressing his admiration, Deol remarked, “I want producers of Bombay to learn from them. You all call it Bollywood, but first refer to it as Hindi cinema, and learn how to make cinema with love from south filmmakers. I thoroughly enjoyed working with all of them. I told them, ‘Let’s do another film.’ Maybe I shall go and settle there (in the South).”
On his Instagram, Deol shared the highly energetic trailer, emphasizing its action-packed nature with a post that read, “The atom bomb of action is all set to explode. #JaatTrailer out now! Mass feast guaranteed! #Jaat grand release worldwide on April 10th #BaisakhiWithJaat.” This film features Deol alongside director Gopichand Malineni and is produced by Mythri Movie Makers and People Media Factory, with a soundtrack from Thaman.
The trailer showcases high-stakes confrontations, highlighting a gripping conflict between Deol and his co-star Randeep Hooda, who portrays the film’s antagonist. As the trailer unfolds, viewers are treated to a mix of intense action scenes, emotional depth, and the fierce rivalry central to the film’s narrative.
Deol shared insights into the film’s inception, stating, “This journey of this film had begun during Gadar 2. We were all excited to embark on a beautiful film, and after collaborating with numerous directors, Gopi agreed to helm the project. We met in Goa, where he had another storyline to present. He narrated to me the concept of ‘Sorry Bol,’ and with that, he drew me into the entire film and narrative, leading to the creation of ‘Jaat.’”
‘Jaat’ is particularly notable as it marks Deol’s first on-screen partnership with Hooda. Joining them in the film are Vineet Kumar Singh, Saiyami Kher, and Regina Cassandra, all of whom contribute to the impressive ensemble. As anticipation builds for its theatrical release on April 10, the film is already generating significant buzz, especially after a teaser was premiered alongside ‘Pushpa 2.’
