New Collaborative Track “Believe in Ya” Features T-Pain and Yaeji
The music scene has welcomed an exciting new release featuring T-Pain and Yaeji on the track “Believe in Ya,” produced by Girl Talk. This energetic song incorporates a sample from Change’s classic 1981 hit “Hold Tight,” which gives it a nostalgic touch while maintaining a contemporary vibe.
Previously, T-Pain and Girl Talk teamed up for the track “Getcha Roll On” released in 2019, showcasing their successful collaboration. In discussing the new piece, Girl Talk expressed his admiration for T-Pain, stating, “T-Pain is a living legend, and an absolute master of his craft. It was an honor to make music with him again.” He emphasized his enthusiasm about blending T-Pain’s distinctive vocal style with new, sample-based production that breathes fresh life into familiar sounds. “I wanted to give him a different sound, something that takes elements from the past but transforms it into a modern style,” he noted.
Yaeji also reflected on the collaborative experience, saying, “It was a joy to create music that’s positive and uplifting, especially alongside T-Pain and Girl Talk.” Her enthusiasm for the project highlights the upbeat nature of the track, aiming to resonate with listeners in a meaningful way.
