In a recent law enforcement operation, Texas police apprehended a suspected MS-13 gang member who is wanted for murder in El Salvador. The incident unfolded when officers from the Lakeway Police Department conducted a routine patrol and noticed a vehicle with defective brake lamps.
During the traffic stop, officials identified the driver as Luis Manuel Hernandez Bonilla, a known member of the notorious MS-13 gang. Authorities revealed that Bonilla is wanted by Salvadoran law enforcement for homicide, which significantly escalated the situation.
After his identification, Bonilla was arrested without any resistance from him and subsequently taken into custody by federal immigration authorities. He has since been transferred to the Boone County Jail in Burlington, Kentucky, where he is currently held in immigration custody.
