The Elder Scrolls: Castles Poised for Global Release
Building on the success of Fallout Shelter, Bethesda is set to launch a new mobile game, The Elder Scrolls: Castles. This game, which soft-launched earlier this year, brings familiar gameplay elements to fans of the renowned Elder Scrolls franchise.
As announced, The Elder Scrolls: Castles will be available worldwide on September 10 for both iOS and Android platforms. While the game is free-to-play, players should anticipate various in-app purchase options, including subscriptions and bundles, creating multiple avenues for monetization.
In this game, users will have the opportunity to fully customize their castles. Players can design and expand their castles by adding different rooms and decorations, as well as assigning characters to various workstations to enhance the castle’s resources.
One of the game’s highlights is the ability for players to create heroes. These heroes can be equipped with powerful gear and sent into battle against iconic enemies from the Elder Scrolls universe. Victories in these battles yield valuable loot that players can use to further develop their kingdoms.
Notably, the gameplay features an interesting time mechanic: each real-life day corresponds to a full year within the game. This unique structure promises a potentially engaging experience for players, making it easy to lose track of time.
Pre-registration for The Elder Scrolls: Castles has already commenced on both the App Store and the Google Play Store. Incentives are provided for pre-registration milestones, including rewards for hitting targets of 500k, 1M, and 2M pre-registrations, such as gems and exclusive in-game items.
