During this encounter, Commander Hackett will inform you about a recent weapons shipment in the city and request the key from Andrath to access the crate.
However, trouble arises when a crafty Goblin snatches the key and scampers off toward the northern side of the city wall. It’s your task to chase down this Goblin and engage in a duel to reclaim the key. The Downspike is submerged in the waters of Willhope Crossing within Brighter Shores. To reach this location, exit the Obelisk area, make your way to the Town Square, and head straight north over the Eel Street Bridge into the next zone. From there, take a left and continue until you find a bridge with Sandy Pufferfish in sight. Dive into the water and employ your Sense ability located on the bottom right of your screen; this will highlight the Downspike.

She will then provide you with a tablet from Captain Degreene that contains information on repairing the Obelisk. To locate Naybeth, journey back to the area near the Town Gates where you first met Commander Hackett. Upon arrival, enter the philosopher’s house to the north and interact with Naybeth, who will supply you with four sigil tiles inscribed with instructions you need to take back to the Obelisk.

To activate the Obelisk, you must identify the four ancient posts located at each corner around it. These ancient structures require the sigil tiles, which must be positioned in a specific order. Once arranged correctly, the Obelisk will summon a Cryoknight, who will assist in the repair process.
After initiating the interaction with the Cryoknight, he will attempt to utilize his magic to restore the Cryojets; however, a final obstacle remains. You will need to confront Anjay to disable a magic barrier obstructing progress.

Anjay, your mentor for your initial magic spell, can be found back at the Training Grounds. Inform him about the situation with the Cryoknight, and follow him back to the Obelisk.
