2025 Home Entertainment Media Play Awards Highlights
Annually, the landscape of home entertainment sees a plethora of new movies and television series released on formats such as DVD, Blu-ray, 4K UHD, or digital. In an effort to recognize exceptional achievements in this field, the Home Entertainment Media Play Awards delivers its verdict each year. This year, the prestigious honor went to the Warner Archive Collection, recognized for its stellar 4K release of the Western classic, The Searchers, directed by John Ford and featuring John Wayne. This release has been hailed as a significant technical accomplishment in film restoration.
