In the latest episode of The Traitors Season 3, the drama intensified as the Traitors—Bob The Drag Queen, Carolyn Wiger, Danielle Reyes, and Rob Mariano—took on a bold new challenge under the guidance of host Alan Cumming. After successfully orchestrating the elimination of Tony Vlachos and the murder of Chanel Ayan, their success was threatened by a series of miscalculations that put their positions at risk.
Episode 4, titled “I Will Bury You Under the Sand,” delved deeper into the strategies and interpersonal dynamics among the remaining 19 contestants: Bob Harper, Britney Haynes, Chrishell Stause, Ciara Miller, Derrick Levasseur, Dolores Catania, Dylan Efron, Gabby Windey, Jeremy Collins, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, Nikki Garcia, Robyn Dixon, Sam Asghari, Tom Sandoval, and Wes Bergmann.
“I thought I had a clue — debunked immediately”
As the episode unfolded, tensions emerged when the Traitors revealed their choices for the next target: Jeremy, Nikki, and Ciara. Alan introduced a twist by mentioning that the Faithfuls might assume one of the three selected would be a Traitor. This strategic decision led to discussions among players, with Tom and Robyn pondering the implications of someone possibly being a Traitor among the chosen few.
Breakfast the following morning showcased Robyn’s attempts to sway her allies, suggesting Jeremy and Nikki were the culprits. However, when Gabby disclosed hearing Danielle in the secret room, Robyn’s theory swiftly lost credibility. The dynamics grew further complicated when appearances by both Ciara and Nikki ignited discussions about Jeremy’s fate as a potential risk to the group.
“If you say it’s Bob, he’s gonna kill you”
Following Jeremy’s unfortunate demise, suspicions circulated rapidly. Various players began voicing their doubts about one another, with Wes suspecting Nikki and Dylan enlisting Dolores as an ally to scrutinize Bob D.Q. The urgency to secure safety through the next mission arose as players continued to suspect one another, amplifying the stakes.
During the mission that followed, Alan introduced a challenge involving transporting statue heads, with shields at stake for successful players. Those who earned shields included Chrishelle, Rob, and Tom, with the full $20,000 added to the prize pot. However, eight players remained vulnerable to the Traitors for the next murder, stirring anxiety among those at risk.
“When the big dog sat down, the little b-tch tried to stand up”
As strategy shifted, Rob began to target Bob D.Q., viewing him as a threat now that they had risen to prominence. With efforts to gather support, Rob navigated the competing interests within the group to advocate for Bob D.Q.’s banishment. Still, he faced resistance from key players like Carolyn and Danielle, who wanted to stick with their original plan.
At the Round Table, Bob D.Q. initially aimed to stay under the radar. However, Rob boldly redirected discussions towards Bob, framing him as the sole culprit in past decisions that had gone awry. This confrontation escalated into a heated debate, with accusations and defenses exchanged. In the end, Bob D.Q. was banished with overwhelming votes, revealing his true allegiance to the group: “I’m a Traitor,” he confessed.
This twist left Danielle and Carolyn feeling uneasy for their role in reducing the Traitors’ ranks, questioning whether Rob’s decision might have been premature. The unfolding alliances and shifts in power dynamics underscore the precarious nature of trust within the game.
