Shuttle Launches New Mini PC: The XH610G2
Compact Design Catered for Intel Core Processors with Robust Cooling Technology
Advanced Storage Capabilities with Multiple Interfaces
Shuttle has unveiled the XH610G2, a mini PC designed to address the complex requirements of contemporary commercial applications.
This new addition to Shuttle’s lineup features a compact form factor, with a chassis that occupies only 5 liters of space, measuring 250mm x 200mm x 95mm. Powered by the Intel H610 chipset, it supports a wide range of Intel Core processors, from the latest 14th Generation to earlier 12th Generation models.
The XH610G2 is engineered for high-performance tasks, including image processing, 3D media generation, and AI-related computations—areas requiring substantial computing power.
Key Features of Shuttle XH610G2
One of the standout features is its unique heat pipe cooling system, which ensures stable operation in challenging environments, capable of enduring temperatures between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius. This design fortifies the device’s utility in varied commercial contexts where durability is paramount.
The mini PC can house Intel Core processors with up to 24 cores, boasting peak clock speeds of 5.8GHz. This capability permits the handling of demanding tasks without exceeding a thermal design power (TDP) of 65W. Additionally, it integrates Intel UHD graphics based on the Xe architecture, sufficient for demanding visual tasks and supporting configurations for high-definition media playback and triple 4K displays. Users benefit from dual HDMI 2.0b ports and a DisplayPort output for enhanced display options.
For enhanced flexibility, the XH610G2 provides dual PCIe slots—one x16 and one x1—enabling the installation of discrete graphics cards or other performance-oriented components such as video capture cards.
Memory specifications include support for up to 64GB of DDR5-5600 SO-DIMM across two slots, ideal for handling resource-intensive applications. This memory operates at a low voltage of 1.1V, thereby reducing power consumption, which is advantageous in energy-conscious environments.
On the storage front, the device offers a SATA 6.0Gb/s interface for connecting a 2.5-inch SSD or HDD and dual M.2 slots for NVMe and SATA storage solutions. Users are encouraged to opt for SATA SSDs over traditional HDDs to maximize system responsiveness and performance.
The I/O capabilities significantly enhance the device’s versatility, featuring four USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports, two Ethernet ports—one providing 1GbE and the other 2.5GbE—and an optional RS232 COM port for specialized peripheral connections, which is especially beneficial in industrial settings.
Moreover, the compact design incorporates M.2 expansion slots for WLAN and LTE modules, ensuring that users can maintain robust wireless connectivity in scenarios where wired connections are impractical.
