Sabrina Brier: The Comedic Voice of Travel Hilarity
Known for her comedic sketches that highlight relatable behaviors of friends, TikTok sensation Sabrina Brier has become a prominent figure in the social media landscape. Her next viral post may revolve around her passion for travel, illustrating her unique take on the airport experience.
In a candid conversation with Travel + Leisure, Brier shared her travel philosophy, stating, “I’m always going to be the girl who wants to get to the airport super early. I can’t help but feel anxious about the rush.” This perspective is essential for anyone who knows the struggles of making a tight connection at the airport.
Brier has gained notoriety for her parody videos capturing typical scenarios, such as “that friend who needs your approval” and “that friend who’s constantly giving advice to her besties.” Her commitment to arriving at the airport well ahead of time remains unwavering. “I could wait for hours in a corner, but what I can’t stand is rushing through the terminal,” she emphasized.
Discussing travel habits, Brier touched upon her recent collaboration with JetBlue and Pepsi. Living in New York City for the past eight years, she feels a strong connection with JetBlue, affectionately dubbed “New York’s Hometown Airline.”
“Being a New Yorker myself, I appreciate the local touch,” she added while highlighting her favorite dining spots in the city, including American Bar, La Lanterna di Vittorio, and Lilia.
Flying with JetBlue has its perks, as Brier enthusiastically mentioned the airline’s Mint class, which features amenity kits that include products from Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare and other essentials, conveniently packed in a drawstring bag from Caraa. “I love receiving swag; it’s one of the highlights of flying!” she joked, adding that the airline’s free Wi-Fi allows her to stay productive in the air.
As for her in-flight preferences, Brier shared her ideal seatmate: someone who engages in brief conversation. “A quick ‘Hello’ is nice, but after that, I prefer a peaceful flight,” she explained. “Just keep your belongings under the seat, and we’ll be fine.”
Despite her aversion to inconvenience, Brier recognizes her own quirks as a traveler. “I tend to be the passenger who frequently needs to use the restroom,” she confessed. “It sometimes seems annoying to others, but I just have to accept it.”
Having recently appeared on an episode of Abbott Elementary, Brier is no stranger to travel, often flying nationwide for work. She also offered insights into planning group trips, particularly for a girls’ getaway. “I believe in a balanced itinerary; relaxation is just as important as activities,” she advised. “Making time for downtime is essential for keeping spirits high.”
Looking ahead to any nights out during these trips, Brier emphasized the importance of planning for recovery the following day: “Just make sure there’s some sleep time built in; that’s key!”
