Classic Stage Company has announced its lineup for the 2024 Gala, set to honor the achievements of Tony Award winner Nikki M. James and 11-time Emmy Award winner Frank DiLella. This year’s gala will be directed by Daniel Goldstein and will feature Tony Award nominees Jenn Collela and Michael James Scott as hosts.
Scheduled for Monday, November 18, the event begins with a cocktail hour at 6 PM, followed by dinner and performances at 7 PM at City Winery. Proceeds from the evening will support Classic Stage’s mission to deliver impactful theater and provide access to classic works for thousands of students across New York City each year.
Joining the already announced presenters and performers are notable talents such as six-time Emmy Award nominee Tituss Burgess, known for his role in Moulin Rouge: The Musical, along with fellow Tony Award nominees Norm Lewis and Charl Brown. They will be joined by Pearl Sun, recognized for her work in Come From Away, and Drama League Award winner Ana Villafañe. Additionally, performers like Yassmin Alers, Laura Benanti, Caissie Levy, Andy Mientus, Andrew Rannells, and Shaina Taub will also take part in the evening’s festivities. Jason Weixelman will take on the role of Stage Manager for the event.
Co-Chairs for the Gala include Alison Haggerty Stevenson, Ilyssa Coghlan, and Matthew Grossman.
Tickets are currently available for purchase at www.classicstage.org/csc-2024-gala. Ticket prices start at $1,000, with table reservations beginning at $10,000.
