Toronto Police have reported an incident involving a traffic stop that escalated to the discharge of a firearm by an officer on Sunday night. The event occurred around 11 p.m. at the intersection of Bathurst Street and Sheppard Avenue West.
According to paramedics, one individual sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, while another person received treatment for minor injuries and further evaluation. Fortunately, the police officer involved in the incident did not suffer any injuries.
