Renowned comedian and 30 Rock star Tracy Morgan recently found himself in a troubling situation at Madison Square Garden during a New York Knicks game. An avid supporter of the team, Morgan was seated courtside when he unexpectedly became ill. Witnesses reported that he vomited before being transported out of the arena in a wheelchair, while also experiencing a nosebleed. This incident resulted in a 10-minute pause in the game, as detailed by CBS Sports.

It is quite common for fans to unintentionally create messes on the court, usually from spilled drinks or snacks. However, an incident involving bodily fluids is rarely welcomed. While coaches encourage players to give their all on the court, fans are expected to maintain a more decorous presence. A representative from Madison Square Garden expressed hope for Morgan’s swift recovery and looked forward to his return to the sidelines.

Following the incident, Morgan took to Instagram to update his fans, attributing his condition to food poisoning and expressing gratitude for the support he received from the arena staff. He humorously mentioned, “Thank you for all your concern! I’m doing OK now and doctors say it was food poisoning. Appreciate my MSG family for taking such good care of me and I need to shout out the crew that had to clean that up. Appreciate you! More importantly, the Knicks are now 1-0 when I throw up on the court, so maybe I’ll have to break it out again in the playoffs.”

The 56-year-old comedian has had a history of serious health issues, including a kidney transplant in 2010 and a life-threatening incident in 2014 when a tractor trailer collided with his limousine, leaving him in a two-week coma.

Facing Health Challenges

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, there has been a noticeable increase in various health concerns, which some speculate may be linked to a combination of diminished immunity and relaxed food safety regulations. This trend raises questions about current standards for food safety, as several documentaries expose troubling practices associated with food production in recent years.

In brighter news, Morgan’s health scare coincides with his upcoming role in a new comedy pilot for NBC, where he will star alongside Daniel Radcliffe. The project, helmed by 30 Rock creators Tina Fey and Robert Carlock, will center around a disgraced former football player seeking to restore his reputation.
