As the inaugural season of Once Human nears its conclusion, players are preparing for the impending server wipe, which necessitates a fresh start in the game’s next chapter. This transition will take you to a unique location known as Eternaland.
Eternaland serves as a customizable haven that is immune to server wipes. It provides players with a secure space to store their assets and treasures, ensuring that they can seamlessly transition into their subsequent adventures in Nalcott. Here’s a comprehensive guide on how to transfer items to and from Eternaland in Once Human.
Understanding Item Transfers Between Eternaland and Your New Server in Once Human
Before embracing the new season, the fear of losing valuable items due to the server wipe can be daunting. Fortunately, not everything will be lost. In addition to retaining the blueprint of your home, you can bring along cosmetics, Starchrom reserves, Equipment Blueprints, Mods, and Furniture Formulas to your new server. This feature offers players a beneficial head start as they embark on a new chapter.
It’s important to note that your Memetic Tree will reset, requiring players to earn Energy Links and Ciphers again throughout the season. Thankfully, essential items such as weapons, armor, and materials like medicine and ammunition will automatically move to the Spacetime Backpack in your Eternaland once you select your next destination.
However, the process for sending items from Eternaland back to the new server comes with its own set of challenges. Players must strategically manage a resource termed Material Points to facilitate these transfers. You start with a quota of 20,000 Material Points, with varying costs for different item types. Players have the option to use these points right away to bring over critical items, or save them for essential resources needed for an effective early-game experience.
In my experience, delegating some of my Digby Boys to initiate mining operations has proven beneficial. I advise against transferring your most powerful legendary weapons, as crafting tier-one versions on your workbench is often more efficient for early-game combat.
Material Points regenerate at the beginning of each season, allowing players to continue sending items as long as they have sufficient points available. Hence, accumulating these points early on is a wise strategy. Additionally, players can convert excess Backpack items into Astral Sand, the primary currency in Eternaland used for various construction purposes.
So, if you find yourself with surplus resources that you won’t be transferring to the new server, consider selling them for Astral Sand currency to enhance your experience in Eternaland.
