Trump Takes on Fry Cook Role at Philadelphia McDonald’s

Former President Donald Trump embraced an unconventional role on a Sunday afternoon, serving as a fry cook at a McDonald’s in Philadelphia while engaging his supporters and critiquing Vice President Kamala Harris.

As a crowd of thousands gathered outside the fast-food establishment, Trump immersed himself in the experience, cooking and serving French fries, while also making light of Harris’s claims about her previous employment at McDonald’s. “I’ve now worked for 15 minutes more than Kamala at McDonald’s,” he quipped from behind the drive-thru window, presenting meals to eager customers.

“I’ve really wanted to do this all my life. And now I’m going to do it because she didn’t do it,” Trump emphasized, linking his actions to a broader political narrative.

Confronting Harris’s Claims

Trump further discussed the controversy surrounding Harris’s assertion about working at the fast-food chain, remarking that McDonald’s had confirmed her statement was inaccurate on multiple occasions. “She shouldn’t lie about it. McDonald’s confirmed four times that she never worked here,” he stated, before shifting his focus to his vision for America’s future. “It’s an amazing business. It’s an amazing country. And we’re going to make America greater than ever before,” he added.

During his fry-cooking stint, Trump donned a restaurant apron and participated actively in the kitchen, all while informing reporters about various topics, including his recent conversation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, proposals to raise the minimum wage, and even extending birthday wishes to Harris.

Support from the Crowd

Accompanying Trump during his shift, Fox News Digital’s Brooke Singman noted that he was in high spirits and fully engaged in the cooking process, serving customers directly. He expressed his fondness for McDonald’s and emphasized the value of jobs in today’s economy. “I love McDonald’s, I love jobs, I like to see good jobs,” he stated. “I think it’s inappropriate when somebody puts down all over the place that you work. Think that was a big part of her resume and that you worked at McDonald’s.”

As he continued to cook and interact with patrons, Trump praised the restaurant staff and assured attendees that if elected president again, he would steer the nation toward a better future. “Look how happy everybody is. They’re happy because they want hope. They need hope and that’s what we’re doing is going to give much more than hope,” he remarked, reinforcing his message of optimism.

Final Thoughts

Trump’s impromptu fry cook experience not only showcased a lighter side of his personality but also served as a platform for political commentary ahead of the upcoming election cycle. By blending humor with serious political discourse, he aimed to resonate with both devoted supporters and casual observers at a time when the nation faces various challenges.
