UFL Investigates Fan Confrontation Involving Samson Nacua
The United Football League (UFL) announced on Sunday that it has initiated an investigation into an altercation involving fan interaction and Michigan Panthers wide receiver Samson Nacua.
Nacua, who is notably the brother of Los Angeles Rams player Puka Nacua, was captured on video engaged in a tense exchange on the sidelines following a game against the St. Louis Battlehawks. The footage shows Nacua striking a fan in the face before walking away, though the reasons behind his actions remain unclear.
Statement from the League
The UFL released a statement regarding the incident, declaring, “The UFL is aware of the incident that took place last evening at the conclusion of the Michigan Panthers vs. St. Louis Battlehawks game in St. Louis. League officials are currently investigating the matter.”
During the confrontation, Nacua was accompanied by teammate Adonis Alexander, who chose not to intervene. The Panthers faced a close defeat, losing the match 32-27 at the Dome of America in St. Louis.
