VeriSilicon and LVGL Join Forces to Enhance Embedded Graphics Capabilities

SHANGHAI–VeriSilicon has unveiled a collaboration with LVGL, a prominent open-source graphics library designed for embedded systems, to integrate support for its energy-efficient 3D and VGLite 2.5D GPU technologies. This strategic alliance aims to optimize the performance of graphic processing capabilities across various embedded applications while also setting the stage for advancement in 3D rendering within the LVGL framework.

With its status as a leading free and open-source library, LVGL enables the creation of visually appealing user interfaces (UIs) compatible with any Microcontroller Units (MCUs), Microprocessor Units (MPUs), or display types. By incorporating VeriSilicon’s innovative GPU solutions, LVGL enhances the ability of developers to deliver superior visual experiences on devices with constrained resources, ensuring robust performance while conserving power.

Actions Technology, a notable player in the low-power AIoT semiconductor sector, is among the initial adopters of this enhanced solution within their smartwatch System-on-Chip (SoC) offerings.
