Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations against Jeffrey Epstein regarding sexual trafficking, has been hospitalized following a serious accident, as confirmed by her representative on Monday.
In a statement, her rep, Dini von Mueffling, indicated that Giuffre is currently receiving medical treatment at a hospital and expressed gratitude for the supportive messages she has been receiving.
Details regarding the accident and Giuffre’s specific medical condition were not disclosed. However, in a recent Instagram post, Giuffre revealed that she is experiencing kidney failure, with doctors reportedly giving her only a few days to live.
Giuffre’s post mentioned involvement in a crash with a school bus, where she described the impact of being hit at high speed while slowing down for a turn, emphasizing the severity of such a collision, regardless of the vehicle’s structural integrity.
The exact location of the accident remains unclear. A BBC report from 2022 noted that Giuffre had been residing in Australia with her husband and three children.
Giuffre has made serious allegations claiming that Epstein trafficked her to influential figures, including Britain’s Prince Andrew, who has publicly denied these accusations.
Jeffrey Epstein, a convicted sex offender, faced federal charges of sex trafficking in 2019. His death in August of that year while in custody at a Manhattan prison was ruled a suicide, which raised numerous questions and theories surrounding the circumstances of his death.
