Virginia Giuffre, known for her allegations against Jeffrey Epstein and Prince Andrew regarding sexual abuse, has reportedly entered a critical stage of health decline, facing kidney failure. Giuffre has publicly stated that she may only have a few days left to live due to her condition.
In a recent Instagram update, she referenced a severe bus accident, revealing that medical personnel have informed her she has approximately four days to live. Her representative later confirmed to CBS News that Giuffre is currently hospitalized and receiving treatment following a “serious accident.”
Her representative, Dini von Mueffling, expressed gratitude for the outpouring of support but did not provide further specifics on how Giuffre’s current condition developed or the nature of her accident. The only detail shared indicated she was being moved to a “specialist hospital in urology.” Giuffre’s Instagram post included a photo showing her in a hospital bed, visibly marked with bruises.
In her post, Giuffre shared her thoughts on the bus accident, stating the dangers posed by a bus driver traveling at high speeds. She emphasized the inadequacy of a personal vehicle’s safety measures in such extreme scenarios, though she did not specify the accident’s timeline or any correlation to her health crisis.
Support from the Community
Giuffre reflected on her situation with poignant remarks, expressing her readiness to depart from this life and her desire to see her children “one last time.” She concluded her message by thanking her supporters, underscoring the importance of the connections she has made throughout her life.
According to Newsweek, Giuffre has been residing in Australia with her husband and three children since leaving the U.S. following the fallout from the Epstein scandal. Her legal battles gained public attention in 2021 when she sued Prince Andrew, claiming he had coerced her into sexual encounters at various locations, including the London residence of Ghislaine Maxwell, a key figure in Epstein’s life.
The allegations included instances of abuse at Epstein’s mansion in New York and on his private islands in the U.S. Virgin Islands. Eventually, the two parties resolved their legal contention outside of court in February 2022, settling for an undisclosed sum. Prior to reaching an agreement, Prince Andrew faced significant public scrutiny, which led him to relinquish his military roles and royal patronages. He has consistently denied Giuffre’s allegations.
Jeffrey Epstein, a notorious sex offender, was apprehended on federal trafficking charges in 2019. Shortly after his arrest, he was found deceased in his prison cell, with his death categorized as suicide.
