Following the recent introduction of the Vivo V40 series, the company appears to be targeting the Indian market with this upcoming launch.

The Vivo V40e is highlighted on a newly established web page, indicating its imminent release. In addition, a recent leak has provided insight into the full specifications of the smartphone.

According to the listing, the V40e sports a refreshed design compared to the previous model, the Vivo V30e. This includes an updated camera housing and color options in Mint Green and Royal Bronze. Weighing approximately 183 grams, it promises to be lightweight and comfortable to hold.

For display, the V40e features a 6.77-inch curved screen with a resolution of 1080p and a refresh rate of 120Hz. The device is powered by a substantial 5500mAh battery that supports rapid 80W charging.

In terms of photography, the revamped camera system boasts ZEISS-enhanced dual rear cameras, including a 50MP main sensor and an 8MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP front-facing camera is also included for high-quality selfies.

While Vivo has confirmed key specifications, tech tipster Yogesh Brar has pointed out additional features. These include the previously mentioned MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, marking a departure from the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 used in the V30e. The device is anticipated to come equipped with 8GB of RAM and storage options reaching up to 256GB. It will also run on FunTouch OS, based on Android 14.

Designed for the mid-range market, the Vivo V40e is projected to be priced between Rs 20,000 to 30,000, which is roughly equivalent to $240 to $360. The launch is anticipated around the final week of this month, mirroring the release schedule of last year’s model.
