The April 11 episode welcomed back the top three contestants from the week to vie for additional prizes alongside special guests from the music industry, including Derulo, Jojo, and Andy Grammer. The contestants included Andrew Goodman paired with Grammer, Mekdes Getahun with Jojo, and Tope who teamed up with Derulo.

During the introduction, Derulo mentioned his newly released dance-centric music video. Seacrest highlighted Tope’s dancing abilities, prompting the contestant to demonstrate his skills with some hip movements and hand gestures, injecting a lively atmosphere into the episode.

Initially, Tope struggled as the first two toss-up puzzles were solved by other contestants, each earning $2,000. However, he made a comeback by solving the first major puzzle, “All You Can Eat Sushi,” alongside Derulo for a total of $4,000. Though Goodman and Grammer initially gained the lead, they faced a setback by going Bankrupt on the subsequent puzzle. Getahun and Jojo capitalized on this, successfully solving the next puzzle and winning a trip to the iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Tope and Derulo excelled by solving two of the Triple Toss-Ups, while the third was claimed by Goodman and Grammer. The duo ultimately solved the final puzzle, “Performing a Duet,” securing a total of $12,350, making them the winners for the evening. Goodman and Grammer closely trailed with $12,159, while Getahun and Jojo left with $10,950. Additionally, each musical guest had $10,000 donated to their chosen charity.

Heading into the Bonus Round, Tope accumulated a total of $29,350. He was accompanied by his wife and daughter, and Seacrest acknowledged Tope’s impressive dancing skills as relayed by his wife.

“Don’t encourage him,” she joked, adding a light-hearted touch to the moment.

In the Bonus Round, Tope sought redemption after not winning on his previous episode. With the letters “R, S, T, L, N, and E” provided, he and Derulo selected “G, F, D, and O.” The puzzle appeared as “_O_ _ _ _ FOR_ARD.” Before the timer finished counting down, Tope and Derulo confidently shouted, “Moving Forward!,” successfully solving the puzzle and adding $40,000 to his total winnings, resulting in an impressive grand total of $69,350.

Overjoyed, Tope leaped in excitement and shared hugs with Derulo and Seacrest, before rushing to his family to celebrate. As Seacrest revealed his final winnings, Tope echoed his earlier dance moves, prompting further playful banter with the host and Derulo. The celebration underscored the camaraderie and excitement present during the episode.

Recently, Seacrest also shared his hidden musical talent, revealing that he enjoys singing as well, though it seems unlikely he’ll be exchanging his hosting duties for a singing career anytime soon!
