Garcelle Beauvais Announces Departure from The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills
Garcelle Beauvais, a beloved figure on Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, is stepping away from the series after five notable seasons. In a heartfelt video shared via her Instagram on March 25, she revealed her decision and reflected on her time in the spotlight since joining the show in Season 10, which premiered in 2020.
“I have some news. I’ve decided to leave Beverly Hills,” she announced. “It’s been a wild ride. I mean, some amazing things have happened, and some hard things have also happened. But it’s been a ride nonetheless.”
Beauvais detailed two key motivations behind her choice, highlighting her commitment to her family. With her twin sons, Jax and Jaid Nilon, about to embark on their final year of high school, she expressed a desire to be more present during this significant time. “Jaid is starting a new career and I want to be part of that too,” she shared, referencing Jaid’s burgeoning modeling career that gained attention in Season 14 of RHOBH.
Beyond her family obligations, Beauvais also hinted at upcoming “exciting projects” in her professional journey as a developer, producer, and actress. “I can’t tell you anything right now, but you’ll know soon,” she teased, suggesting that fans can anticipate new endeavors from her in the near future.
In conclusion, Beauvais expressed her gratitude towards those who supported her throughout her reality television venture. “I just want to say thank you to Andy Cohen, to Bravo, NBCUniversal, Evolution, 32 Flavors, the producers, the crew, and of course, the ladies,” she remarked. Additionally, she left the door open for a potential return, stating, “Andy Cohen says I can come back anytime, the door will always be open, so you never know. I might pop back in sometimes.”
She also took a moment to appreciate her fans. “I want to say thank you so much. You guys have cheered me on, supported me, and sometimes even fought for me or on my behalf. It means a lot and I hope you guys will continue on this journey with me. It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later,” Beauvais said warmly.
As of now, details regarding the casting for Season 15 remain undisclosed. The cast from Season 14 recently came together to film their reunion episode, leaving fans eager for what lies ahead.
