Kristen Bell Prepares to Host the 2025 SAG Awards
As the date approaches for the 2025 SAG Awards, Kristen Bell is gearing up for her role as host. Recently, she shared her thoughts with “Extra’s” Melvin Roberts about accepting the hosting duties.
Initially, Bell’s reaction to the offer was one of hesitation. She remarked, “Do I want to do any work?” after having spent the past several months in a routine as a stay-at-home mom.
Bell, who shares two daughters, Lincoln and Delta, with her husband Dax Shepard, has embraced her time off from the entertainment industry. “I’ve been a stay-at-home mom for the last… eight to nine months, and I’m in a groove,” she explained, highlighting the comfort she’s found in her domestic life.
While her daughters are growing up, they are starting to understand their mother’s celebrity status, but it comes with its own set of challenges. Bell noted that her children, while comprehending the situation, are not particularly fond of the attention it brings. “They’re understanding, but they don’t love when strangers take attention away from them,” she said, offering a glimpse into the family’s dynamics regarding fame.
Despite these challenges, the girls are expected to support their mother on the night of the awards as she showcases her comedic flair. Bell expressed confidence in her comedic style for the event, stating, “I know my style of comedy is not dangerous or edgy. I like to make jokes about myself, I like to be goofy.”
With her lighthearted approach, Bell’s hosting promises to be both entertaining and relatable, bringing her unique humor to the spotlight during the SAG Awards.
