xQc Reflects on $700K Loss in Presidential Bet
Popular streamer xQc, known for his engaging content and candid personality, has expressed a nonchalant attitude following a significant loss of $700,000 on a bet regarding the outcome of the 2024 U.S. presidential election, in which he backed Democratic candidate Kamala Harris.
The electoral results have come in, confirming former President Donald Trump’s return to the presidency, a turn of events that took place on November 5, the day many viewers and followers tuned in to watch the election unfold.
On election night, xQc, whose real name is Felix Lengyel, joined other popular figures in streaming live commentary. However, as the results shifted towards Trump, it became evident that xQc’s earlier enthusiasm began to wane.
Prior to the election results, fellow streamer Destiny indicated that xQc had made a hefty wager, placing a $700,000 bet on Harris’s chances after seeking Destiny’s opinion on the election outcome.
As updates continued to favor Trump, xQc took to the betting platform Stake to cash out his bets on Harris. Viewers in his chat had a field day, offering jokes and lighthearted taunts as his losses became apparent.
Despite the considerable sum lost, xQc appeared to navigate his disappointment with a sense of humor. During a group call with fellow streamers, including Trainwreck, the iconic tune “The Sound of Silence” by Simon and Garfunkel played in the background, underscoring the mood of reflection among those present.
Addressing his followers, xQc candidly remarked, “Chat, sometimes losing is admitting defeat. And I’m f*cking admitting defeat.” This admission highlighted his awareness of the financial risks associated with gambling.
Later in the stream, in response to viewers mocking his betting decision, xQc defended his gambling habits, stating that he regularly experiences large losses and insisted it was a non-issue for him financially. “Guys, I lose between like $350,000, $400,000, to like a million a day,” he proclaimed. “And you’re gonna talk sh*t about $700K? Brother. Peanuts stuck in the f*ckin’ sofa, brother.”

xQc Calls Out ‘Hypocrites’ in Gambling Debate
xQc is no stranger to financial transactions of this magnitude. Having entered into a lucrative deal with Kick worth $100 million in 2023, he often shares glimpses of his high-rolling lifestyle, which includes luxury items like a $500,000 Audemars Piguet watch and an impressive collection of sports cars.
Interestingly, this recent bet does not mark the peak of his gambling losses. In a recent appearance on Logan Paul’s podcast “IMPAULSIVE,” xQc disclosed that his total gambling losses may have reached as high as $100 million. “I’m a diligent gambler, it’s gambling so the pays are really high, okay? But I’m dumb, okay, so yeah, I gamble a lot,” he reflected, illustrating the rollercoaster nature of high-stakes gambling.
