In the meantime, Yash is immersed in the filming of Toxic, which features co-star Kiara Advani. However, in a recent update, he announced that the film will not release on its initially scheduled date of April 10, 2025, due to various scheduling challenges. Directed by the acclaimed Geetu Mohandas, the film’s delays have stirred up discussions among fans eager for its release.
During an interview with The Hollywood Reporter India, Yash expressed that the original release date was disclosed before proper scheduling was established. He said, “We intended to start filming sooner, but we encountered some unforeseen complications that delayed the process. Unfortunately, the film won’t be ready by the announced date.”
While he refrained from providing a new release timeline, Yash emphasized the importance of credibility in the film industry. He remarked, “It’s essential to maintain trust with our audience. This is the first incident where we’ve announced a date that we won’t meet, and we didn’t even begin filming at the time.”
Yash highlighted the complexity of organizing schedules among actors from various film industries, noting that the film’s extensive cast presents its own unique challenges. He said, “Coordinating everyone has been quite tricky, given the number of participants involved.”
Despite the postponement, Yash has exciting news regarding the visual effects for Toxic, which are being developed by DNEG, the prestigious company recognized for their groundbreaking VFX work in films like Tenet and Interstellar.
