YouTube has introduced an innovative feature aimed exclusively at its Premium subscribers, facilitating a smoother video discovery experience.

To evaluate the functionality of these recent updates, the platform has invited Premium users to test new features early and provide feedback. This is evident with a recent addition designed for content discovery that was introduced on March 26, 2025.
The latest update includes a new category of recommended videos directly integrated into users’ Queue, eliminating the need to navigate away from their current watchlist to discover new content.

Available exclusively to Premium users on Android until April 7, this experimental feature effectively integrates users’ Recommended feed into another area of the app.

Previously limited to the homepage and the Recommendations section, suggested videos will now also populate users’ Queue. This means that, for instance, if you have three videos lined up to view, a fourth recommendation can be easily found within the Queue without any need to return to the homepage.
This new feature is designed to save users time, potentially allowing them to spend seconds less during their viewing sessions by presenting recommendations right where they are positioned in their Queue.

Importantly, users maintain control over what appears in their Queue. These suggested videos are not automatically added; instead, users have the discretion to select which items they want to include in their Queue and can choose the exact placement of these selections.
This thoughtful integration aims to streamline the user experience, enhancing convenience by minimizing navigation time while still permitting personalization of content consumption.
